Angry Angus Burger

Natural Organic Burger

We like it natural. With fresh and organic ingredients. We work and we definitely cook with that mindset. So when we throw a ‘The Frozen Butcher get-together party’, we organize a meal and make our favorite natural organic burger.

And if we think something is terrific, we like to share it. So try this recipe created by The Frozen Butcher, for The Frozen Butcher and for friends of The Frozen Butcher.

It’s easy!

Poach two eggs by breaking one egg at a time into a saucepan of simmering water (around 90°C), with a dash of vinegar and some salt. After about 4-5 minutes, when the egg can be scooped up in a ladle, it’s ready. Fry the romaine lettuce leaves briefly in some butter and sprinkle with a little salt. Fry the burger until it’s golden-brown and place on top of the lettuce. Finally, place the poached egg on top of the burger and sprinkle with some chopped chives.

Much appreciated

Serve with cooked bulgur, a little fresh yoghurt and pieces of freshly chopped red chili stirred through.
